What is Heat House?

Heat House is a dedicated infrared sauna studio focused on long-term health and longevity. We provide a professional setting for regular infrared sauna use - one of the most studied practices associated with improved cardiovascular health, reduced inflammation, and healthy aging.

This is not a sea or a one-off experience.

It's a practice designed to be repeated over time.

What makes infrared sauna different from a traditional sauna?

Infrared saunas use light energy to heat the body directly, rather than heating the air around you.

This allows for:

  1. Deeper tissue penetration
  2. Lower ambient temperatures
  3. Longer, more comfortable sessions
  4. Easier regular use

Because of this, infrared sauna use has been widely studied in relation to cardiovascular health, inflammation, recovery, and longevity.

How often should I use the infrared sauna?

Most of the documented benefits of sauna use are associated with regular, consistent use over time, rather than occasional sessions.

Many members attend:

  1. 2+ times per week, or
  2. As part of a weekly health routine

Heat House is designed to support consistency, not intensity.

Is Heat House a spa or clinic?

Heat House is neither.

We are intentionally not spa-like - there is no pampering, no treatments, and no indulgent rituals.

The studio is designed to feel calm, professional and purposeful - closer to a longevity clinic or health practice than a traditional wellness spa.

Do I need to sweat for it to "work"?

No.

Sweating is a natural response to heat, but it is not the goal and not a measure of effectiveness.

Infrared sauna works through light energy interacting with tissue, circulation, and cellular processes - benefits can occur regardless of how much you sweat.

Is infrared sauna safe?

Infrared saunas are widely used and generally well tolerated when used appropriately.

At Heat House:

  1. Sessions follow recommended durations
  2. Temperatures are controlled
  3. Guidance is provided for first-time and regular users

If you have specific medical conditions, are pregnant, or are unsure whether infrared sauna is suitable for you, we recommend checking with a healthcare professional before attending.

Do I need to shower before or after?

A shower is not required, but you may prefer to shower after your session depending on personal comfort.

We recommend:

  1. Arriving hydrated
  2. Wearing light, comfortable clothing
  3. Bringing a change of clothes if needed
What should I wear?

Most people wear:

  1. Light activewear
  2. Swimwear
  3. Or minimal clothing they feel comfortable in

Towels are provided for seating and comfort.

How long is a session?

Sessions typically range from 30-45 minutes, depending on your booking and experience level.

Longer sessions are not necessarily better - regular, repeat use matters far more.

Is Heat House suitable if I'm not "into fitness" or wellness trends?

Yes.

Heat House is designed for people who care about their future health, not fitness fads or wellness trends.

You do not need to be athletic, flexible, or experienced with saunas.

Many members simply want a sensible, evidence-backed habit that supports long-term wellbeing.

How is Heat House different from using a sauna or red-light device at home?

Home devices can be useful, but many people struggle with consistency and structure over time.

Heat House provides:

  1. A dedicated environment
  2. Professional setup
  3. Clear session guidelines
  4. A routine that's easier to maintain long term

Owning equipment doesn't guarantee regular use. Heat House exists to support the habit.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes.

Because most benefits are linked to regular use, Heat House is structured around membership options that support consistency.

Single sessions are available, but memberships are designed for those who view infrared sauna as part of an ongoing health practice.

Is this a medical service?

No.

Heat House does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.

We provide access to infrared sauna sessions within a professional, wellness-focused setting.

Any health-related information shared is educational and evidence-informed, not medical advice.

Who is Heat House for?

Heat House is for people who:

  1. Care about long-term health and aging well
  2. Prefer evidence over trends
  3. Want simple, repeatable habits
  4. Value calm, professional environments

It's not for those looking for pampering, luxury spa experiences, or quick fixes.

What should I expect on my first visit?

Your first visit will feel:

  1. Calm
  2. Straightforward
  3. Unrushed
  4. Clearly guided

You'll check in, be shown the space, and complete your session with minimal fuss.

The focus is on making infrared sauna use feel normal, accessible, and repeatable.

Do you have step-free access?

Unfortunately we do not have step-free access. Please be advised that there is a flight of steps up to the Heat House entrance.
